I was invited in for an interview with the program coordinator and her supervisor after applying online. I asked a list of standard questions and was given a response the following week.

I was interviewed by three current employees: the director of the program and two of her superiors. We went through my interest in the position and prior experiences. It was a fairly straight forward conversation.
