      Account Representative Interview

      Dec 24, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Framingham, MA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boston Direct (Framingham, MA)

      Interview

When I got to the office for the interview, they had me wait in the waiting room and fill out a questionnaire. I then was called into an office where I met with one of the higher ups in the company and he interviewed me for about 10 minutes. He told me I passed to the next round, and I was sent back out to the waiting room to wait for another interview. Then 2 men came and took me in their car to a Dunkin Donuts down the street and interviewed me there for 30-45 minutes. I don't think I would ever get into a car with two strangers on a job interview like that ever again. It was a pretty standard interview. They told me the job was door-to-door sales, which basically turned me off right there. They then took me back to the office and I left.

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boston Direct (Framingham, MA) in May 2019

      Interview

The interview was fairly simple, they asked a few basic question that all interviewers asked. The first interview was about 10minutes, before they asked me to do a second interview the same day. I really appreciated the second interviewer more, because he is going to become my mentor.

Hello Interviewer, First of all, congratulations on joining the team! You are correct that the preliminary interview is a short interview compared to the second in that we are merely assessing your interpersonal and communication skills. The second interview experiences what a day in the life of the role with your potential mentor if offered the position. We are excited to work with you!
