I applied via a recruiter and was taken through a long and demanding process. This included an initial recruiter screening call, a face to face interview at their Canterbury offices, several hours of remote psychometric testing covering numerical, verbal and logical reasoning, and a second face to face interview involving a detailed presentation to a panel including the incumbent, the Head of Finance and the Managing Director.
After investing significant time and preparation, including taking time off work to attend in person twice, the company declined to make an offer and also declined to provide any meaningful or constructive feedback. Given the level of assessment involved, this felt disappointing and not particularly respectful of my time.
Candidates should be aware of the level of commitment required before entering this process and the lack of feedback you will probably get at the end. Their process screams of leadership being unable to make decisions.
