I have been contacted by a third party (a female recruiter from 44ventures) hiring for Brightcom (previously Ybrant). The interview was the worse ever. Although I am beyond qualified which was agreed by both parties, I have been brutally questioned on a personal level which is prohibited and against the law. I found myself expediting the zoom interview after 12 min as I felt it was very inappropriate and a gaslighting experience. I would suggest this company to hire their own HR in order to improve their process and values. I am wondering if her personal questions were intentional in order to emphasize that the company was not interested in hiring a female for a demanding position. I will recommend this recruiter to review her strategy.
