Recruiter from the company reached out to me and scheduled an initial phone screen. I then met with 2 members of the team for a 30 minute interview that was pretty straight forward focused on my experience and skills required for the role.
I then had an hour long panel interview with 3 people where I once again spoke to my background and skills required for the role, then did a presentation based on a topic of my choosing.
Finally, I was invited for an in-person meeting with 2 managers as the final round, not for an interview, but a more casual meeting to see the office and get a feel of how the company works and their culture.
I had to submit a background check, which required me to find multiple old documents from years ago, because they couldn't verify that I worked at a job for 2 years many many years ago.
But after the in-person interview, as well as sending a follow up, I did not hear back from at all. Not even an email reply saying they went with another candidate.
Despite the actual interviews being relatively smooth, I was working with multiple recruiters for this one position which made it slightly confusing on who to reach out to (they didn't make it clear) But also not hearing anything back after multiple rounds, even a denial, was pretty disappointing and may possibly speak to other aspects of the company I didn't see. Also the complexity of going through the background check to ultimately not hear nothing back was very telling.
