The interview process was straightforward and is described on the Britebound website as well.
Once you submit an official application, within a few days or weeks you will receive an email from Talent Acquisition about a phone screen (this is the first round interview).
The first round interview lasts approximately 30 minutes. They ask about your expertise, your interest in the role, and what you hope to do at Britebound. They also share expectations and, in my case, what other fellows have worked on. They are genuinely excited about the work at Britebound, so I'd recommend sharing your excitement as well.
My interviewer was extremely kind and shared a lot of information about ongoing work at Britebound. Some items were not yet on the website, so it was great to learn that they are actively moving projects forward even if they're still in the background. They will let you know if you advance to a second round interview pretty quickly, within about a week depending on the role, which felt like a sign that they respected my time.
Second round interviews are with members of the department you want to work with. I am very interested in research, so I got to meet with the Research Director. She was amazing! You will get standard interview questions such as:
- Why Britebound?
- What are you hoping to bring to the team?
What I liked most was the level of engagement. I came in with a vision and a passion, and the Director was immediately supportive. She was actively explaining ways that my vision could be supported at Britebound.
All in all, it was a very positive experience.
