I applied online. I interviewed at BroadPeak Partners (New York, NY)
Interview
Brief call with the COO of BroadPeak, where he asked a lot of questions on resume and other behavioral stuff. Along the way he kind of agreed how I fit into the team and what they were looking for.
This was the second time I interviewed at this company and the COO has a habit of ghosting candidates after giving them hopes for the next round, even without judging them on technical abilities. Seems like a higher hiring bar than google.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BroadPeak Partners in Dec 2018
Interview
A cold phone call from Internet phone and chatting quality was very bad.
After going through the resume and my experience, the COO just asked tons of Behavior questions to know whether your personality or some unrelated stuff was a good fit for his company culture. However, he did not know any of the technical experience in your resume and did not care about your technical skills.
No time for you to ask any questions, more like an interrogation and It's true. Showing no respect for the interviewer
And finally a puzzle problem. No data structure or algorithm problems, Nothing even basic language problems
I think he is looking for very very smart people who focus on business, not technology
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BroadPeak Partners (New York, NY) in Dec 2018
Interview
Pleasant experience, 3 steps process comprising of 1 phone call and two on site interviews. Both technical and non technical skills were tested, like communication and cultural fit/work ethic fit.
