The assistant met with me and looked over my resume for the very first time. I was shocked. Instead of looking at my resume BEFORE bringing me in, they wasted my time/travel expenses. He handed my resume back and said "thanks for coming in" and walked me to the door. This could have been decided over a 5 minute phone call or maybe they could actually read the resumes... they seem like they could care less about wasting your time. The "marketing" job application I had applied to was very misleading. The interviewer had basically told me the job was a walking sales person for the company. When I had asked about the details that were actually in the job description online (example: developing marketing campaigns) my questions were diverted to a different discussion, again, on how it's a sales position.

The interview process was easy. I first met with the owner, who gave an overview of the company. I was given the impression that it was a marketing position and the company worked with large corporations. I was asked back for a second interview, where the position was described in more detail: sales, and the pay structure was discussed- sounded like a pyramid scheme.
