The interviewers seemed uncertain and unprepared, which in turn made me nervous. They mixed my name up with another applicant, and asked about my experiences at a university I never attended.
They read things aloud straight from my CV, stuttering a bit, like they weren't quite sure about what they wanted to ask me about. As if the information was new to them.
Most damning of all was the process after the interview. They gave me a task to complete, so they could gauge my skill level and creative thinking. I created videos and other communications material, and sent a link with all the files through an online transfer service. The service let me know that they never downloaded the files. Hours and hours of work, and they did not even look at the work they asked me to do.
I wish they had been upfront after the first interview. It would have saved me a lot of work.
