During the 3rd interview with one of the top directors from Brussels, literally after 5 minutes of communication, I had an irresistible desire to interrupt the interview due to the fact that the opponent was extremely unfriendly and unpleasant.
He couldn’t understand in any way my previous experience and how I could successfully have provided full IT support to several hundreds of my customers. All this showed me the way how this top director treats people and lack of normal communication in the company.
The desire to get a job offer at this company instantly disappeared. I could hardly resist my urge to interrupt the interview and decided not to hide the absolute loss of my interest in working for this company in general and continued answering questions.
At the end of this extremely unpleasant conversation, I forgot about this company as a nightmare. A few days later I received an email from them informing me that I wasn't selected for this position. It made me laugh. I don't think that their future employee for this position will last long in this company with such a terrible climate inside.
Conclusion for the future and an advice to applicants: If during the interview you feel negative from the opposite side or feel that there's no mutual understanding between you and the interlocutor - just interrupt the interview without hesitation! Remember, the employer isn't the only one choosing you. First of all, you choose an employer who you'll work with and build your career.
