So I was interviewed back in 2007. I will never forget this interview because it was the most bizzare interview I have ever had. As soon as I arrived at their small office I was asked to sit at a computer and solve problems. It was ridiculous! The problems were totally unrelated to what someone would apply in the field of environmental compliance consulting. The owner or president of the company then interviewed me for about 2 minutes and told me "well..if you are having trouble with the problems then maybe this& isn't the right position for you." I was shocked especially since I graduated from UC Berkeley and carried a GPA of 3.5. Anyways long story short, I am the Corporate Environmental Engineer for one of the biggest pulp and paper companies in the country. I am in charge of 90 manufacturing plants and work directly with outside environmental legal council and our General Council on a consistent basis. Take it from me, this company isn't worth your time if you have an education. Its a "dead end" job. Too bad they were so disrespectful during my interviewing process because I may have hired them to do national work for us.
This is an old school company ran by old baby boomers who don't know how to survive in today's market. You need youth and fresh thinking.
