I applied online, only to find that the process stretched on for over a week—an eternity in the realm of employment, I assure you. When the day of the interview finally arrived, I was met with what could only be described as a cursory engagement with HR. They sought a new team member, yet their questions were shockingly superficial, akin to asking a distinguished chef for their favorite color instead of inquiring about their culinary expertise. The entire affair was disappointingly brief, lacking any semblance of professionalism. Might I suggest that CEDA consider brushing up on their financial and accounting vernacular before attempting to recruit someone with a modicum of expertise in the field? If one is to hire a professional, it would be prudent to engage in a dialogue that reflects an understanding of the subject matter. As for the infamous question, "Tell me about yourself," it felt more like a prompt for a monologue at a dinner party rather than an inquiry into my qualifications.
