Interview
Management were nice enough to talk and the interviews are relatively standard. However, the Talent Acquisition "Specialist" is anything but. It takes weeks to hear back from her - having spoken to colleagues across the industry they all have pretty much the same experience. Some of my friends received emails asking for a call, only to respond and then be totally stonewalled. The lady who works in the underwriting recruitment side is absolutely dreadful and I wouldn't trust her to be professional insofar as I can throw a mountain.

Standard Underwriter interview questions that most other companies might ask.
I was interviewed for two roles by CFC, which went well, usual questions - however I was told by both hiring managers (simultaneous interview) that I will hear from them. However the recruiters at CFC will never get back to you! Not even a Curtesy “sorry but you are not a fit…” email, just radio silence after months of waiting, enquiring and chasing. Very bad look - I have been told by friends within the company and not that this is their reputation and what they do. Shame really, after all reposting the same job listings 3/4 times but never getting back to applicants promising or not shows a real dis-interest in finding any talent.

Interview
I had an introductory call with a member of the HR team followed by an interview with two team members to discuss my interest in the role, the company, and the specific team. The interview experience was fine, and I found the team members to be friendly and engaging. However, I was disappointed by the lack of communication from CFC following the interview. Despite reaching out to the contact in HR after three weeks, I did not receive any response. As someone who invested time and effort in researching the company and role, I found being ghosted after the interview to be extremely unprofessional.
