CMM Global interview questions

Job mis-match between Hiring Manager and Director, one was very specific and technical, another was very general. While I'm flexible and capable to either, was verbally offered, I was rejected at the end because I do not have a specific hands-on experience, feels like an excuse to turn down my application.
