      Research Scientist Interview

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CPI in Jun 2020

      Interview

I effectively applied for the same job twice and was interviewed each time but the story kept changing. So I apply, get interviewed and rejected (I suspect I was over-qualified) but asked to apply again if I see any jobs of interest. So I got the impression I had done well. About a month later I see a very similar job at a higher level advertised so I contact them and ask if I should apply. “Please do” is the response. So I do, get interviewed again (which again seemed to go well) but this time I’m rejected because of “a lack of experience” I can’t win! When I saw a similar job advertised yet again I didn’t bother applying. I don’t think they knew what they wanted and I decided they had wasted enough of my time with several long, detailed on-line interviews.
