If you are thinking about working for this company, you need to run, not walk. I have to say, this position has been posted at least 3-4 times and is now reposted again on Glassdoor. What's the reason they cannot fill the role with a good candidate? Well poor leadership of course!
It's my understanding the COO (Serge) was originally hired in as the Customer Service Manager. That speaks volumes to the level of maturity you are dealing with at this company. The interview started with absolutely zero introductions, mater of fact type of questions and was very cold overall. Clearly this person does not understand interviews are two-way streets and the employer needs to be well received by a good candidate. Furthermore, their salary is way out of whack! What VP is going to work for $90-$120K per year? That is Sr. Manager salary!
This all being said, I will leave you with two things: 1) Do your research on this (or any other) company both from an employer and a consumer perspective. Their consumer satisfaction and reviews are terrible! Everyone is from Finland and South America according to their tests. 2) Do your research on the hiring managers beyond LinkedIn. I did a google search on the hiring manager Serge and it uncovered some potentially interesting information if it is in fact the same Serge from Brooklyn, NY.
All of this speaks volumes about this organization and the types of people that work there. Don't take my word for it, read the employee reviews.
