I was asked to come in and interview with the owner. He asked a few job related questions and introduced me to a few staff members. Discussed the pay and benefits. Got a call a day later saying they wanted me to take a “personality test” which was really just a bunch of ridiculous algebra questions that had nothing to do with the job. The test took an hour to complete and had me feeling extremely unconfident in my answers that’s how difficult the questions were. But I must have passed it somehow because the owner emailed me asking when I could come in for a second interview. He said he would call me the following day and that “it was between me and one other person” but he never called, only sent a few very short emails to communicate. He knew I was losing my job and I was open and honest when I told him I was interviewing at other places as well, but when I told him the days and times I was available for the second interview, I never heard back from him. They string you along and make you think you’re going to be hired and then they just stop all communication. If I were you I wouldn’t waste my time applying to work here.
