I stepped in and was the best one dressed. That's all fine and what not, but these guys were pacing around boiler room style reading scripts AT people who 11 times out of 10 hang up because their method is absolutely archaic. After doing a first round phone interview I was quickly invited to visit Cahill Financial where I sat down with 2 people who basically looked at me and said when can you start? (Not an exaggeration). They then showed me their process and what I would be getting involved with, and I was immediately turned off. Have you ever had a spam call where someone quite literally talks over you trying to word vomit their script before you can hang up? That's them; the calls are coming from inside (Cahill Financial) lol. I asked if I absolutely had to stick to the script, and they were resolute about only saying what was provided. I was absolutely astonished they could muster any sales at all, let alone enough to afford their office on Wall St. It appears they are just looking to hire someone that will fit in with the office, no brains needed (nor wanted) for cold calls. Absolutely nothing more. Although I know this is a scathing review regarding their practices, I want to point out that the staff I had the opportunity to speak with (3-4) were extremely nice. I'm positive that someone will find this position attractive due to the pay potential (still unsure how it's possible), and "cool" office culture, however that individual should have a mind more geared towards assembly lines than sales.
