      Interview

A recap of the facts: Within 3 total conversations, lasting 29 minutes over 133 days, from an internal referral is hardly enough time to ask any relative questions. Let alone, get to know someone…. The following is a timeline of the of the Questions/Statements from our very brief conversation(s): Conversation(1) with XXX: Dec 19th, 2022: 7 minutes ----XXXXX thinks very highly of you, how many years in total of Pharma experience do you have, what areas? Most of my career. 18 years. UX solutions / Package design for Devices, HCP, Hospital Networks, Vaccines… ----“Tell me a little about yourself?” --- “Are you UX or Creative?” ---“Really all of the above, I am a true hybrid, not only the Art Director, the Creative Director, the UX guy, I am the end-to-end guy, some one that can walk any type of tactic through the process, digital, print, Strategy, really I have done it all…” “I am the Gate keeper here and you are perfect for what we are looking for and our growth.” “Sounds like the band is getting back together with XXXXX, I am excited about working with XXXXX again, he was the best PM I have ever had” “You need to meet with XXXXXXX …” Conversation(2) with XXXXXXX: Dec 20th, 2022: 4 minutes ----“Tell me a little about yourself?” ----“How much are you looking for?” Low to mid 100’s, I have been in that range for the better part of the last 5 years and would like to stay there. ----“What do you want your job title to be?” I would like to keep Director in my job title, as I have 18 years of equity and utility. ---- “Makes sense” ---- “We work very efficiently here, I have what I need ~~ have you met with XXX yet? –Yes- You need to talk with XXXX our XXX, next.” First follow up sent: Dec 20th, 2022: Hi XXX and XXXXXXX -- Thanks for taking the time this week to touch base with me about the possibility of joining the Calcium creative team. As you can imagine, I am super excited about the possibility of working with XXXXX again. I think of XXXXX very highly, as he is and was the best PM I have ever worked with. As promised and requested, I attached a fresh copy of my CV and CL below. I also provide some applicable information below. As we approach the holidays, I know time can be at a premium. Please let me know how I can assist with any questions in the coming days. I am looking forward to continuing our conversation in the coming days! Thanks in advance for your time and due diligence. – XXXX (Ignored) Conversation(3) with XXXX: Jan 5th 2023 - 18 minutes ----“Tell me a little about yourself?” ----“How many people have you managed/mentored?“ ----”What side are you on, UX or Creative?” “I am calling XXXXX, right now, I think we need to act now and get you wrapped up!” “Sounds like the band is getting back together. I am excited!” Moments later, the same day XXXXX said “I’ve been summoned to call her. So looking good!!!” -Moments later- “WELCOME TO CALCIUM. Expect a formal offer soon! She loved you.” Was texted to me…. (I have the receipts.) Second follow up sent: Jan18th 2023 Hi XXX, XXXXXXX and XXXX - Hope you are doing well since we last spoke and these past few days have been busy and productive. Having enjoyed our conversations over the last few weeks, I wanted to touch base. As you can imagine, I am excited about the possibility of joining the Calcium team. It is my hope to help push the envelope of the agency's capabilities and accountability for Calcium’s clients, given my unique background. Please let me know how I can assist with any remaining questions. Thanks again for your time and due diligence. I am looking forward to hearing from you! ~~ XXXX (Ignored.) Third follow up sent: Feb 2nd 2023 Hi XXX, XXXXXXX, XXXX and XXXXX - Hope you are doing well, these last few days have been very exciting to be in Philadelphia. Given the time that has passed and the promissory language that has been conveyed over the last few weeks. With fairness, respect, and understanding to the current job market. Specifically, there is a need to know where I might be creatively. Please let me know how I can assist with the process. Thanks for your time and due diligence. I am looking forward to hearing from you! ~~ XXXX (Ignored.) Glassdoor, is in fact not the forum to wax poetic or pontificate, To quote one of Calcium’s recent Instagram posts: “The Time Is Always Right To Do What Is Right.” The finger prints of Calcium’s true business and leadership DNA are all over the lack of upfront communication, or any communication in general. It is abundantly clear there is a lack of respect as well, given this candidacy was an internal referral, given the events of the last few months ((Sep 27, 2022 CV/CL sent in and December 2nd , 2022 ~~~ being the official application date) that’s 133 days in total for context from any official rejection or communication as a whole, and today's Glassdoor post date of February, 7th 2023.) Having been lead on for 67 days, toyed with and left to feel like a pawn. Calcium’s actions and choice.
