The hiring process for this position was probably one of the more casual that i have encountered. Often, people who are hired here are referrals or previous employees/interns, so the interview process can be quite informal in comparisons. team work is important, and thy stress the ability to prioritize over a number of different levels (according to company needs, short term goals, long term goals, organizational needs, etc.). The ability to learn quick, be self sufficient, and adaptable are a must. This is a large and well known company, in addition to having all other competitors based int he same town, things can get competitive. Depending on position, previous O&G experience is not a requirement (or really even a preference all other factors considered). however, also depending on the position, interviews can be intimidating simply because it is numerous candidates back to back to back, and usually only last about 15 min or so. I have a colleague who was hired into an engineering position who really wasn't even asked any professional questions, just came in to shake hands and sign paperwork!
