The interview was in 3 stages - 1. A skype interview, 2. a face to face interview with a local manager and finally an interview with the MD and Global Sales Manager at the Head Office in Ringwood. Although the actual face to face interviews, be it by Skype or in person were a positive experience with passionate professionals, I personally found doing a 500 mile round trip to interview at head office is a complete waste of time for both parties involved considering the modern technology we have at our finger tips today. In my case, I think the company at the very least could have covered expenses as I had to break my journey and stay in a hotel too which made the whole process £££ which I could barely afford. Lastly, the company require you do a Menza-style timed written test with the most ridiculous cryptic like questions and riddles that could not be more removed from the actual job in question which I felt sent out confusing and mixed messages about the company and it's recruitment process.
