I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Canva in Jan 2022
Interview
Worst process ever. Constant rescheduling and ghosting. I have never came across such unprofessional company and recruiter. This is completely different from all the PRs in the media. Definitely not recommending to anyone.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Canva in Jun 2026
Interview
I only had a recruiter screen with Canva and it was a lot more thorough than I expected - I had prepared some star examples but not enough clearly!

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Canva (London, England)
Interview
Pretty standard interview process, definitely suffering from a bit of arrogance with seeing themselves as an employer of choice, maybe this is warranted - I couldn't tell.
The initial screen was about why should you be lucky enough to work here rather than what can you bring to the table, why Canva etc. I wasn't feeling it after meeting with the recruiter - they seemed disengaged and expected a huge sell from me. While I appreciate I need to sell myself I also expect the company to show interest in me and my experience beyond why would I be "lucky" enough to join Canva.
LONG. i was pulled into 5 interviews before being told i didn't secure the position. it was an extremely arduous process but they were communicative throughout the entire thing so it wasn't terrible. but alot alot of prep work for sure
