after the company presentation, a written test was held, comprising of four sections- technical (c,c++, datastructure, java), english, quanta and logical reasoning. each section was of 25 marks, the cut off being 15. then a grop discussion was held. technical interview followed, mine continued for a little more than an hour and the interviewer asked me to write a program first (converting hexadecimal to binary) WITHOUT ANY ERRORS. mine had a few errors, but i kept correcting them as he pointed them out. he also asked to write programs from datastructure. questions were asked from digital electronics, microprocessor (2 programs were also asked to write from 8085 microprocessor, but they were easy. few questions from java was also asked, since it was written in my cv. lastly, he asked 2 questions from my own branch (i am from a non-cs background). the hr round was the last one and for various people, it ranged from 5 mins to 30 mins. mine was also 20-25 mins and the interviewer asked questions, mainly from the incident form and a few things like, tell me about yourself, why aricent, what are your future plans etc.
