I applied through college or university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Captiva Marketing in Jun 2016
Interview
It was pretty straightforward. I sent a resume to them and a couple of days later they got back to me to schedule a phone interview. They asked me the basic interview questions and went over what the job entails. The woman I spoke to was friendly and answered all of the questions I had.
I applied online. I interviewed at Captiva Marketing (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
Three rounds of interviews with three different sets of people over the course of an hour and a half to two hours. There wasn't really a strict set of questions. Each interviewer got to ask a few of their own questions. This sometimes led to me being railed with question after question because there was no real structure. Met with both of the owners, one of which was very rude and kept diverting the interview towards himself. He insulted my intelligence (I was an honors student) and made a point to make me feel inferior to him. He also mentioned they did not really want to train anyone, they were expecting someone to walk in and know exactly what's going on with very few questions. (this is an entry level position) When I told the other owner about my social media management experience he pulled out his phone a looked it up during the interview (nerve racking) so don't try to "fluff" your experience because they will call you out. Ultimately this process made me extremely uncomfortable and nervous the whole time even though I was very well qualified to work here.
