I interviewed for a Software Engineering position, that would then get upgraded to a Senior Software Engineer. The interview process is lengthy, and feels more like a gauntlet. Technical interview, presentation, discussion, team meet, product experiment, AI discussion, it feels like it never ends. After 6 rounds (a team meet, technical interview, product thought experiment, presentation, architectural discussion, etc.), I received nothing but overwhelmingly positive feedback, I was informed they were pausing their hiring efforts. This was unbelievably demoralizing and honestly unprofessional. After keeping an eye on their job board, they are continuing to post the same job, so I firmly believe they have no intention of filling this role. I would be weary and very cautious to apply to any of their postings.
