      Full Stack Developer Interview

      Feb 15, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Arlington, VA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CaseGuard (Arlington, VA) in Feb 2023

      Interview

Initially I was excited to get a call from the HR for the role. After a quick chat, they send you out an take home project and give you a week time to finish it. Its basically a WPF Application (.NET) and has around 6-7 task to finish it. I managed to finish it within 4 to 5 days. Additionally I made a small video of the project flow to how my applications looks and works like. Plus, I made out documentation explaining the flow and the approach I took. Taking out a weeks time to finish the project apart from my full time job was worth nothing. they rejected immediately and I am still waiting on the response to why I wasn't selected for next round. Be careful when you start doing the project, Ask what are the expecting out of it. Otherwise you waste your weeks time, energy for nothing ! Very poor process !! I am sorry I am writing this Interview review. But I felt someone should have written , if I have faced it. someone else might have too. Might help someone in the future. if they stick to the same interview process.

If your familiar with commands you can easily do it in 3 days. if not it make take you up to 5 days. to finish considering your working full time. You will find some public GitHub repo who have done something similar.
