I met with the Regional, it was probably the biggest “run away as fast as you can” meeting of my life. She was very suspicious and codisending, it was a clue as to leadership that is not great to work for. Love to see a person who has no empathy try to play nice. We can evaluate our potential employers and if it feels bad then it is bad, I was happy to hit the road after that interview.

Met with regional director of social services to discuss the role of social worker at Morningside Nursing Home. During interview I was assured training, support, and a favorable compensation. None were true. The regional director of social services is company driven with little no cares for the patients and their rights. I was asked to document in favor of the facility and highlight the patient to reflect bad behaviors, moods, and room changes not in line with government regulations. It was a terrible experience and one which forces you to question your professional values.
