I was invited for an interview by email which I confirmed my attendance to. I also sent off a criminal convictions form that they wanted me to complete and send back prior to the interview. The interview was booked in for 9:30 to 11am. I managed to take the morning off work so I was available for the interview and also put in alot of hours preparing for any questions that were going to come up during the process. I signed into Teams in plenty time for the interview commencing at 9:30am. No one joined the meeting and by 9:45 I phoned in to Castle Water to check we were still going ahead. While I was on the phone to a person from customer services I received a email telling me that they had already filled the position and they forgot to cancel my interview. Absolute shocking way to treat anyone. The time and now loss of money for myself is an embarrassing way to act as a company. A bullet dodged. The way I have treated others throughout my career seems to be to a much higher standard than how they go about things at Castle Water.
