Interview
In March 2014, I applied online and within a few days I received an email asking to schedule a phone interview. The following week, I spoke with the hiring manager and the conversation lasted about 30 minutes. The beginning questions were standard background information (tell me who you are, why are you interested in the role, etc.). The one question which I answered poorly was a situational question.

Question 1
How would you handle a situation where there was a car accident and everything in the delivery was lost?

Interview
The interview process for me was fairly long. I have 3 phone interviews prior to coming into the office. They were all some what repetitive and also the email exchange on setting these up were not at timely as I hoped in most cases. After a month of phone interviews, I was called for an office interview. This was about a 2 hour process with 5 different people which once again consisted of about the same questions. I went in feeling extremely confident especially based off my feedback from prior communication and the fact I had such a high interest in the company. I did not receive an offer nor did they even follow up with me to mention they had went with someone else. Overall, this was a neutral experience, possibly more negative for me since I was interested and dragged along for almost a month and a half.

Interview
Heard back within 48 hours of applying online, and had a phone interview with an Operations Manager in San Francisco. Conversation was fairly straightforward. They asked me what I thought the role was, which I thought was weird because the posting wasn't particularly detailed and that was what I was hoping to find out through the phone interview. Interviewer knew almost nothing about the operation since they did not work in the office I was interviewing for. I emailed the interviewer the next day to thank them for their time, and never heard back at all. I would have appreciated some kind of response telling me they were moving on.

Question 1
What do you understand about this role and what do you think you will be doing?

Interview
I had two phone screens - one with a relatively new employee, another with a slightly more experienced manager. I was then brought into their office for a 3-hour process that included several one-on-one interviews and a straightforward assignment. It was difficult to gauge the office culture, although the people I met seemed nice enough.

Question 1
No hardball questions. Things like "what are three words your friends would use to describe you?" and "what would you add to the office culture?"
