Connected with recruiter via a listserv I belong to. Recruiter interviewed me and referred me to hiring manager. Hiring manager interviewed me and gave me a job offer on the phone. Two days later, I got a formal contingent job offer. I ad to accept according to the hiring manager so she could send my resume to the federal government client. After I accepted, I had to go for a drug test and then complete a lot of security forms so the hiring manager could send my resume to the federal government client. After I spent my weekend filling out all the security form. I did not complete the onboarding forms. I suggested to the several HR people that I complete those forms when a start date is established. I got a long email from HR explaining why I should fill out the onboarding forms. Then a day later, I got an email with a link to the onboarding forms. I filled those out and noted the first onboarding form was an arbitraion agreement. I concluded that is the real reason the many HR people wanted me to complete the onboarding forms. Three weeks later, I got an email from the hiring manager telling me that the government client does not want me so the company is not issuing me a final job offer. I do not recommend working for this company. The hiring manager is a very young, inexperienced person and I lost interest in the job when the people wasted my time with unnecessary paperwork.
