I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CenExel Clinical Research (Hollywood, FL) in Nov 2025
Interview
When I applied, I was informed of an interview schedule involving a panel conversation followed by a shadowing activity. Upon arrival, the order of activities was adjusted, and the shadowing occurred first. The interview afterward was shorter than expected and involved one staff member rather than the group originally described.
I prepared thoroughly by reviewing the materials and studying standard research procedures. I also have academic training in research, IRB-related coursework, and patient interaction. During the shadowing portion, I asked questions related to workflow and responsibilities.
A later update from my recruiter explained that the company considered my future academic plans when reviewing candidates. I previously clarified that my program supports working students. Many mental-health graduate programs are structured for full-time employment, especially with current Department of Education changes affecting funding. Reliable work is essential for many students.
The interview timeline and communication process differed from the initial outline, and all follow-up information was communicated through my recruiter. This summarizes the interview experience I had with the company.

Interview
Quick phone call assessing if you can move on to the next process. Not much of an interview, more of a screening process, not sure what it assesses other than willingness to learn and clarifications about your resume
