Interview
Intro round followed by 2 technical interviews: first, a 2 part technical interview including a 45 min technical discussion and then a 45 min coding challenge; second, a half-day hackathon with some of the employees.
Employees gave off a pompous Silicon Valley demeanor. Company has great potential, unsure about it being a good/supportive work environment.

Question 1
Describe algorithm in the discussion part and create RegEx engine for 45 min coding challenge
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Census (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2022
Interview
1st: HR Screen 2nd: HM interview, talk about past experience for 40 mins + 20 mins leetcode easy-level question 3rd: Final round interview. Included a 90-minute practical coding challenge (actually creating an API that solves a problem), 30 mins on culture fit, 60 min product management discussion, and 45 min verbal algorithms interview. I really enjoyed the final round structure; it was true to the skills you'd expect a startup to want you to have. If you have experience building applications from the ground up, I think the interview will be up your alley.
