Interview
Spoke with the recruiter (who was 10 minutes late) for 1/2 hour. She was nice but didn't seem all to interested in telling me about the role. I waited two weeks and she came back that they went with another candidate. Wish they came back sooner.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Center for Talent Innovation (New York, NY) in Jun 2014
Interview
The first step is a phone interview mainly behavioral and motivations for applying. Know about the company and what they do. Then are more traditional questions about yourself, strengths and weaknesses. End with questions for interviewer.
After, there was an in-person interview with two consultants. More behavioral and a deeper dive into what the company does and floor is open for questions.
Final step is a test on PowerPoint and Excel (the test may take up to 5-6 hours, or 1 , depending on proficiency.) Test asks you to analyze a very large database of data, and then synthesize it and answer a few questions based on it. Then, using that data you are to create a power point presentation (2-4 slides) that is clear and representative of it key takeaways.
