The company provides an online local news service supported by online advertising from local businesses. I heard they were opening several new sites in the area, so I emailed my resume to the owner and he agreed to meet with me. It was beyond a doubt the shortest interview I've ever had. The owner worked for Monster.com and has big company mentality. The atmosphere has that energetic, start-up feel...intriguing and exciting. The job that was described was basically inside sales...pretty much telemarketing...like you would do a Monster. A couple of people I know were working there at the time...I don't think any of them worked there for more than a year.
