I met with the hiring manager. What the company really wanted was a technical leader who was willing to perform some manager responsibilities. None of the questions were related to managing a team. Also, the job description was utterly misleading. For example, the job description said they wanted someone with experience in SharePoint; what they really needed was someone with experience migrating SharePoint. The job description also mentioned SQL experience, but they wanted someone with SQL server experience. They need to be clearer so no one's time is wasted. Also, the hiring manager does not put you at ease and has no personality.
