I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Chalo (India) (Mumbai) in Sep 2022
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and one online assessment was given on hacker earth.
In OA there were 3 questions 2 Hard and 1 Medium. I was able to solve 2 questions.
After that the F2F interview was scheduled where I was asked some illogical puzzles not sure what they are trying to judge here. After that one question was asked on searching and the second question was from leetcode where they expect you to give most optimal answer within 10 minutes basically you should mug up the answers and just tell it directly to the interviewer as they are not interested in the thought process much.
Highly negative experience. And I am writing this review so that the management looks into this and hire developers or just mention while calling that they are looking for mathematicians, not programmers.
The round included a few logic-based puzzles and one difficult data structures and algorithms (DSA) problem from LeetCode. Although I don't recall the exact question, I remember it being quite challenging and requiring an in-depth understanding of advanced algorithms and problem-solving techniques.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Chalo (India)
Interview
It was on-campus drive of chalo. The interview process was exhausting. Time given for interview was 10AM and my interview happened at 3PM.
They ask puzzle in interview so must read all the GFG puzzles. It was nice experience with chalo.
The interviewers were polite, helpful and good to talk.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
2 DSA question and 1 puzzle in technical round one.
One question is https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/find-maximum-sum-possible-equal-sum-three-stacks/
Second dsa question is to find the kth ancestor in a tree.
Second round is based on project/internship and system design. For fresher role they ask system design it's somewhat weird.
