I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ChartHop in Feb 2023
Interview
Many interviews, spread out over the span of a month. It would be better if they could streamline it so it doesn't take so long. Most of the interviews were pleasant, enjoyable experiences. It's the pair programming challenge that brought the whole process down. I don't have a lot of experience with pair programming, but I found it unusual that the interview was 2v1. And to make an already stressful experience worse, one of the engineers made a comment about ganging up on the candidate - even if it was an attempt at humor, it's not professional. I also found it very hard to focus with 2 different engineers trying to prompt for information on my thought process. I could not get the time I needed to put together a solid game plan. It was difficult, and I know I wasn't able to perform well that day, but I know I could have performed better had the circumstances not been what they were.

There were 3 rounds of interview:
* Recruiter
* Technical interview on algorithm and data structures on CoderPad
* Technical interviews as well as meeting with VP and CEO
They definitely do their due diligence to make sure the right people are hired and fit within the organization. However, the interview process is transparent and enjoyable.
