My recent interview experience for the CTO position at Chi Networks was an absolute disaster. The job description provided was entirely misleading, omitting crucial technical requirements like expertise in the Python Django framework. This oversight occurred because the JD was generated using a free subscription to ChatGPT, resulting in a short and inaccurate description. It appears the company has blind faith in ChatGPT and didn’t bother to review it twice. This blatant negligence led to a complete waste of my valuable time and energy.
The communication gap between the HR consultancy and the hiring managers is inexcusable. It is abundantly clear that Chi Networks does not value the time or effort of senior-level candidates. The disorganization and lack of professionalism displayed are shocking for a company of this supposed caliber.
I strongly advise against engaging with Chi Networks. The environment was pathetic; they don’t have a fan at the reception area, their AC doesn’t work, and staff needing quick meetings with the CEO have to carry laptops with chargers because their battery backup doesn’t last five minutes. This indicates that their equipment is more than five years old, showing they are significantly behind the times and lack the budget to upgrade laptops, hindering their employees' ability to work smoothly and efficiently.
Applying for any job at Chi Networks is a waste of time and energy. I strongly recommend reading other reviews by interviewees before considering this company.
