She was very responsive but as it happened during my midterms week, I was always one or two days late in response and the interview process only lasted for one or two minutes.

The interview lasted twenty minutes, with half of that time being devoted to the interviewer highly praising themselves and their own achievements rather than focusing on the interview itself. The second half of the interview was just a downhill spiral of unprofessionalism and unimaginable torture. When it came to the actual interview questions, the interviewer scanned over my resume with a look of confusion as if it was their first time even looking at it. When asking why I wanted to apply for a position in the medical field, the interviewer proceeded to cut me off as I was answering to mockingly laugh at the fact that I had no previous medical experience so nothing I said would've mattered. When I spoke of my previous jobs, the interviewer scoffed at the fact that I hadn't worked long enough in either of my past positions to gain "valuable skills". The interviewer then proceeded to cut me off again as I resumed talking when their cellphone beeped with a notification and left me sitting in uncomfortable silence as they texted on their phone for 5 minutes. There were a few other moments in which the interviewer would lean back in their chair, cross their arms, and frown at me. I kept as coolheaded and polite as I possibly could throughout the twenty minutes out of sheer willpower of not getting up halfway through the conversation in annoyance and defeat. The entire interview was extremely off-putting and completely unprofessional -- even if you dislike the candidate, there is no valid reason to degrade and humiliate someone. Be cordial and kind, even if you quickly realize that the candidate is not the best person for this position. If you like being put down by egotistical authoritarians who say that you should be grateful for doing things outside of your job responsibilities without any job training or complaints because it is "helpful for your personal growth", this company may be the right fit for you.
