Initially, I spoke with the intern coordinator at my university. I sent my portfolio, resume, and cover letter all in a hard copy, and received an email from an editor within two or three days. They did a phone interview, and she pretty much hired me during the interview. The people at Cincinnati Magazine are amazing -- friendly, outgoing, open to everyone's input and ideas. I loved this internship.
