The process was long, drawn-out, and exhausting. I had what I thought were great conversations, but after a month of 3 rounds (and a preliminary Loom video before even speaking to anyone), I received a kind, but disappointing rejection due to not being “senior enough” which is odd given I have 5+ experience and have built the technical architectures described in the JD. Tech companies don’t mind wasting their time or the candidates’. The hiring process is broken.
