I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Bengaluru) in Oct 2021
Interview
Good experience. Got to know the areas to improve.
Total 1 OA + 2 Technical rounds + 2 HM rounds(mine was one extra round because they wanted to analyze me more). Mostly DSA and system design questions.
Managers are knowledgeable. They push you well to think better. HRs are something to improve. They ghost you by not telling you if you're rejected or not. Had to wait for 3 weeks for a rejection call, That too after constant follow-up.

The online accessment is in medium level. It contains three quizes, level of which is increasing. The total time is one and a half hour. However, their code platform is not easy to use, especially you need to print the value mannually as the output, which took me mintues to figure out why I got no output!

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Ottawa, ON) in Jul 2022
Interview
This is the worst interview experience I have ever had. After wasting my 7 hours, the recruiter said the salary range is 40k less than my expectation, which was provided in the beginning and they still wasted my time: - very unprofessional and non-responsive recruiter. She explained to me the agenda of interviews or replied to my emails - Other than 2 interviewers: Niloy & Ali, all others don't know what they should be asking in the interview. They literally read my resume in an interview and were out of questions in half time. one of the interviewers was having her camera off the entire interview. - Same discussion happened in 4 interviews Suggestions to management: - Polish the interview process to be what you wanted when you were a candidate - Get some knowledgeable and professional interviewers. Having decade of experience doesn't make you a good interviewer - Make some sensible rounds: Manager round --> technical --> Director/final instead of: normal chat --> normal chat --> normal chat --> normal chat --> manager --> un-necessary Director interview
