I sent my resume after seeing the job posting online. I got called for the interview after a couple of days. The interview was very basic just the usual interview type questions. I informed them I could give 1 weeks notice from my previous employment. I received a call 2 days later letting me know I got the job and start the next week. At 8.55 in the morning I was supposed to start I received an email stating the CEO needs to confirm the position and they would be in contact. After no contact all week from City Blast I emailed them and was told they were "looking into it". After a few more days of radio silence I called the company and spoke to the person who interviewed me, I was told he was dealing with it and they hadn't forgotten about me.
After 2 weeks of being interviewed still no start date, then I received an email telling me that while I am the candidate of choice the CEO cannot give me a start date or even a time frame of when I can start and I am unemployed now. I specifically told them I could give 1 weeks notice from my last job and they seemed happy with that. I have never come across a company so unprofessional.
I send an email stating that I am clearly disappointed and annoyed that they lead on the job was for an immediate start and I have yet to hear back from them.
For a company that advertises itself on being professional and team focused this is ridiculous behavior.
