Interview
The process consists of four stages: an HR call, a 90-minute technical assessment, a 90-minute technical interview, and a final interview with senior management.
I applied for a Senior Data Scientist position on the AI team. However, the test task required taking on the roles of Data Engineer, Data Analyst, and Business Analyst. The HR representative shared a link to the task description and requested submission of a Jupyter Notebook file within 90 minutes.
The company also expects familiarity with dashboarding tools. While the task itself isn’t overly complex, the strict time limit makes it quite stressful.
The technical interview primarily focuses on your previous experience and the test task. Familiarity with AWS is preferred.
Throughout the technical interview, I had the sense that I was constantly being evaluated, which was not a pleasant experience.

Interview
El proceso de selección para Data Scientist en ClearPeaks consistió en tres entrevistas y una prueba técnica. Inició con una primera entrevista de contacto y alineación con HR, seguida de una prueba técnica take-home de 90 minutos enfocada en roles de Data Engineer y Data Analyst usando Python y dashboard rapido para la solución. La segunda entrevista se centró en la discusión de la prueba y conceptos avanzados de Data Science y programación. El proceso culminó con una entrevista final presencial con Management y HR para evaluar el encaje mutuo de objetivos. Destaco que fue un proceso agradable, con respeto y comunicación constante, donde las conversaciones fueron diálogos de los que un Data Scientist disfruta, confirmando un enfoque de encaje bidireccional.
Importante tener en cuenta que aunque fue durante el mes de agosto donde había gente de vacaciones, en todo momento estuve informado del estado.
