      I interviewed at Clever

      Interview

Recruiter call, then a takehome. Encouraged to use AI. Project is supposed to take no longer than a half day. Project used Python/Django. If they like your submission you do a 30min code review. I felt prepared for some questions, but others got very specific and that's where things got a bit difficult because I had done my best to build an app in a stack that wasn't my main stack I use on a daily basis so some questions caught me off guard with line specific references. Got a rejection a few days later.
