The company reached out to me stating that my background seems like a strong fit and they would like to move forward with the interview process. I followed the first step which was to submit a form with my information (resume, cover letter, etc.). A few days after submitting the form, I received a generic email stating they decided not to pursue my candidacy. This seems quite odd when they reached out to me and stated I was a strong fit. Further, I now receive emails from the company for other opportunities, which I never signed up for. Are they are real estate company or recruiters? The company has also received rather low ratings from Homeopenly.com regarding their real estate agents.
