I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Clinical Research Fastrack in Sep 2022
Interview
I interviewed for the marketing coordinator position - now called marketing writer and design specialist. I was given a phone interview and a second interview via zoom with the hiring manager. I then was told I would hear back about a 3rd interview by Friday (my interview was on a Tuesday).
Come Friday, I didn’t hear back. I sent a follow up email thanking them for their time, and asked when I should hear back. No response.
Monday I find on Indeed and Glassdoor they removed the original job posting and renamed it something similar, from “marketing coordinator” to “marketing writer and design specialist”.
Tuesday Morning, a full week after my second interview and 4 days past when I was told I would hear back, I sent a second email asking if I should still expect contact. I finally got a response via email before they closed for the day stating “they were going in a different direction.”
There are no hard feelings that I wasn’t chosen, and I understand things get busy, however it is unprofessional to ghost candidates after multiple interviews. Everyone deserves a simple yes or no and it shouldn’t take multiple requests for an update to get that.
Clinical Research Fastrack should have set the expectation that I would hear back later than expected or tell me that I did not fit their job description after the interview was over.
Overall, their communication processes need some serious attention.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you rate your writing skills on a scale of 1-10
I was offered a phone interview, then ghosted when the interview time came. I then reached out and I was told that the interviewer was sick and they asked to reschedule. 2 hours later I get a email saying I was not selected. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.
