The interview was very relaxed and well structured. The questions were also posted in the chat, which I found particularly helpful as someone with dyslexia, as it allowed me to process the information more effectively. The questions were designed to explore my skills and experience rather than catch me out, giving me ample opportunity to demonstrate my suitability for the role.
Communication throughout the recruitment process was excellent, with clear and timely updates at each stage. The interview panel appeared genuinely interested in my experience and invested in creating a positive candidate experience, which helped me feel comfortable and able to perform at my best.
My only criticism is that I was ultimately unsuccessful due to a lack of criminal justice experience. While I appreciate the organisation's requirements, it would have been beneficial if this had been made clear from the outset or specified as an essential criterion, as it may have saved both the organisation and candidates time during the recruitment process.
