      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Clipboard in Feb 2026

      Interview

I was invited to take an online assessment and even though I invested a lot of efforts and energy to make every little detail according to match the requirements listed in the description, I got an email from one of their technical recruiters saying that the script did not return the correct results for the data set. I replied with a clear email listing all the details and explaining that the solution indeed returns the correct results for the given data set, but I'm pretty sure they didn't even looked at it. I don't mind getting rejected and they could've easily said that we are moving forward with another candidate, but saying that your script doesn't return the correct result from the data set is not the right argument, because it was obviously not the case. I thought their hiring process is serious and worth investing the time on it, but after looking at how it is being handled, I'm really disappointed. Not because of not moving forward, but because I wasted a lot of time and effort to complete an assessment that nobody will ever look at it.
