      Director Interview

      Mar 18, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Santa Clara, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Clumio (Santa Clara, CA) in Feb 2024

      Interview

I had a short initial video conversation with the hiring manager. A couple of weeks later I was scheduled for an on-site interview (which was a nice change from video interviews) with three team members individually plus the hiring manager. Each interview seemed to go well; however, one interviewer kept looking me straight in the eyes the entire time which was off-putting, I believe that looking people in the eye during conversations is appropriate, but not to the point of staring. It seemed like she wasn't experienced at interviewing. She asked the typical "tell me about your most recent positions". Overall the interview was very positive. It's been several weeks (I noticed the position is no longer posted. now) and I've not heard anything back, so it seems I've been ghosted. This indicates that this company lacks organization and/or lacks common courtesy. They could have easily sent a standard email that said I wasn't a fit

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about your most recent positions? How would you handle someone who wasn't meeting expectations? What are your expectations of those who would report to you?
